1In a pan, sear pork belly until browned. Set aside.
2Saute garlic and onion until fragrant. Add soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, bay leaves, and peppercorns.
3Add the seared pork belly and simmer for about 60-75 minutes or until the pork is tender.
4Add banana blossom and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.
For a richer flavor, marinate the pork belly in the soy sauce mixture overnight before cooking. Serve hot with steamed rice.
