How to Cookhow to luto
1Heat the langis in a kawali (wok or frying pan) over medium heat. Sauté the sibuyas and bawang until fragrant, mga 1 minute lang, charot!
2If using bagoong alamang, add it now and sauté for another minute until its aroma is released. Careful ha, baka masunog!
3Add the sliced upo. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes, until slightly softened. Wag masyadong matagal, baka maging lugaw!
4Season with patis, asin, and paminta. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. As in, tikman mo! Ang sarap kaya!
5Continue to cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the upo is tender but still retains its shape. Pero kung gusto mo siyang malambot, go lang!
6Serve hot. Yan na, kain na tayo!
Tipstips

For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of gata (coconut milk) towards the end of cooking. Super sosyal, diba?
