1Prep mushrooms: Heat butter in a pan. Sauté mushrooms until browned and flavorful, then add garlic. Set aside.
2Prep chicken: Pound chicken breast to flatten. Season with salt and pepper, then coat lightly in flour.
3Cook chicken: In the same pan, add oil and butter. Pan-fry chicken until golden brown on both sides (mabilis lang maluto kasi manipis).
4Make the gravy: Return mushrooms and garlic to the pan. Add water with chicken cube and soy sauce. Let it simmer hanggang medyo lumapot ang sauce.
5Finish: Turn off the heat, stir in the cream, then add chopped parsley and plenty of black pepper for aroma and flavor.
6Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or veggies.
