In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well using your hands, charot! Make sure it's all combined, like a well-loved relationship.
Shape the mixture into patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Don't make them too thin, ha! They might dry out, sayang ang effort mo.
Lightly coat the patties with flour. Para mas crispy, bes! Ang ganda mo naman.
Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the patties on both sides until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside. Now for the gravy, charot again! In the same skillet, add 1/2 cup of water, stirring to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook until thickened slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the gravy over the burger patties and garnish with fried onions. Serve hot with rice. Ang sarap, diba?!
