1In a bowl, combine the beef cubes, minced garlic, soy sauce, crushed peppercorns, and salt. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (longer is better, bes!).
2Heat the butter and cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef and pan-fry, stirring occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your liking and nicely browned. Don't overcrowd the pan; work in batches if needed.
